Car sales and production make breakthrough in China

Car sales and output surpassed 12 million during January to November. And sales of auto market are expected to outpace 13 million for all the year.
Xinhua reported that the largest carmaker in China, Shanghai Automotive Industry, sold 2.44 million cars in the year to the end of November, a rise of more than 50% compared with the same period a year earlier.

China maintains its lead in car market, despite the huge downturn and falling sales at most global automakers. Government’s stimulus policy, including cuts in sales tax, and other incentives to promote low-emission cars will support it continue to grow rapidly next year.
